Cast bullets and bh209 issues

Well that’s changed quickly lol. So those who are using real black powder do you get a crud ring ? If so how to combat it? Mines so bad I can easily get a jag stuck trying to clean it after 1 shot.

Black powder, and it’s substitutes, are extremely dirty (not considering BH 209 as a BP substitute) and leave a lot of residue in the breech. To combat getting the jag stuck, as you get closer to the breech, use short up and down strokes, gradually going deeper, until you get to the plug. You won’t get another cleaning jag stuck, ever. If you wet a patch and go straight to the bottom, you’ll get it stuck, a lot.
You should never get anything stuck using BH209.
