Anybody ever heard of Casto Armory? I stumbled on some of their videos on Youtube. They make a kinda hybrid Longrifle for bullet shooting in .45, .50, .54, .58 and a long barreled inline. castoarmory.com

Watching some of their video makes me cringe. The young man could not get another inline rifle to shoot. It appears to be a Knight plunger gun. Seriously, none of them could get this rifle to fire?

They said the load for the Casto 50 inline was 120gr of T7 and a 300gr conical solid for a speed of 1946fps.....WAIT A MINUTE....shooting a 300gr REAL conical at nearly 2000fps...I think my red flag just hit full mast!! My BS meter is peaking. :D 3" low at 200 yards with a 100 yard zero...Please...with a 300gr REAL

Wow gunna lose 400-500fps vs the Casto inline with a 32" barrel...i want what he is smoking. :yeah:

Probably got ahead of themselves.

what tells me they are full of crap is not being able to get a Knight rifle to fire, only way it wouldn't fire is if they left breech plug full of oil or they didn't put powder in it..talk about self promotion they sound like some of the drug companies today their gun will cure all the ills the other gun company has and only for a couple grand. :D :D :D :D :D

Looks like a $190 Pete Allen inline action but its hard to be sure.

Its very hard to tell but it looks like a MK85 with laminate stock in the video. Which is one of the best inline percussion rifles ever made. I just think its pretty poor to pump up your own product by claiming you cant get another brand to even fire. The young man couldn't get it to fire and neither could the others?.....just sounds very fishy to me especially if it is a Knight MK85.

Let me see if i can enlarge the video enough to tell.

Best i can do with the pic size limits we have.

I cringed everytime that kid fired off a cap without reseating the bullet. I realize #11caps normally will not move a load but still think it is good practise to always reseat your load after a missfire.

400 to 500 fps faster than the competitor with a 3 inch drop to 200 yards ?? Sign me up ! lol NOT ! Ithink i will stick with my Knights for now .

I have done the long barrel testing . You gain some speep with longer barrels but honestly much past 25 inches is minimal. 26 inch barrel is about perfect in my opionion
