Cci 300 musket cap ?

A friend gave me an old ML supply box mostly full of corroded bullets, patches and old pyrodex. But there were two tins of CCi musket caps, both say extra strength 0300. One tin has no wings and the other tin has six wings. Whats the difference(besides the wings) if anything?

I've had both kinds, still have a half tin or so of the 6 wingers. Never noticed any difference in performance.

Are they comparable to the Schuetzen brand musket caps? Ive got a couple tins of those too, to go with an Accura western conversion plug kit.

I would say yes.

I have some RWS musket caps without the "wings" that look identical to the ones in the tin on the right in your photo. In my opinion if those are RWS caps, they are superior to the CCI ones.
