Committed an act of blasphemy!

I took the Renegade out to shoot some Blackhorn209, sabots & jacketed bullets !

It did ok 2 1/2” groups at 75 yards. I did also shoot some PRB’s with BH209. About the same groups.

Duplex loads of 10gr. 777 under 50-70gr. BH209…CCI # 11 cap.

About 15 shots with zero swabbing between shots and each went down as easy as the first.

All I shoot out of my sidelocks, percussion and flintlock, are sabot loads. The powder is Swiss Holy Black, but they all prefer sabots to all others.

Yeah you don't want to mention sabots at the other site. They get all bent out of shape over that.

Try it with the Mag Spark 209 conversion and you can thank me later , no subs needed just a 209 primer (water proof/no erosion of nipple with #11 cap . My 5 renegades/Hawkens all shoot 100 percent every time /Ed
