Hi

I ordered a Northwest Conversion for my MR-X 45cal, the conversion uses a Musket Cap. I ordered a couple 6X1mm, percussion cap No. 11 nipples from track of wolf which do not seem to fix. Looking at the CVA website, only nipple they show is the No. 11 6x1mm.

Figured I would try and see if caps would reduce the crud ring of 777. I have plenty of No.11 caps that's why I wanted to try them over the musket cap.

Is there a nipple that would fit the NW breech plug to use No. 11 caps? Maybe i just need to screw them in harder, the supplied musket nipple screws on easily.

Thanks

I have the northwest breech plug kit for my Optima pistol.
The musket cap nipple isn't the same design as a standard nipple, musket or # 11.
I wouldn't try forcing a # 11 nipple into the breech plug. You're apt to damage the threads on the plug.
What's wrong with using musket caps anyway?

I have couple k of the No. 11, would have saved me from buying muskets
