I just got a turkey with my tc omega and a 250 gr sst over 100 gr of BH209. I have been wanting one almost as bad as the big buck on our place, but with 70 deg days the bucks have been holed up so I decided a turkey would be the next best thing. Set up in a draw that they have been using to feed on acorns and they came through just as expected.

Where do you shoot a turkey with a rifle like that? I've shot a lot of turkey with shotgun, but we are not allowed to use a rifle. An old friend of mine in Arkansas used to shoot them with a small caliber rifle (I forget the caliber I think it was a .22 win mag) and he claimed it did not blow them up too bad.
