Federal 209MZ Primers

This morning, I fired about 6 shots using these primers with a load of Blackhorn 209.
Every shot went off without a problem.
I guess that settles that question.

Try them in cold weather, they might work, then they might not. I’d rather not chance it, especially on a deer.

Wanted to add that they fired nice and clean, no blowback at all, using them in my CVA Optima V2 rifle.

They probably won't be my go to during the deer season. I have CCI 209M and Federal 209A.
It can get chilly out here. Teens and 20's aren't uncommon.

I’ve had a couple of hang fires (temps in the teens) shooting conicals, BH 209, and a standard shotshell primer. I’ll be using a mag primer with BH 209 here in Indiana in muzzleloader season, it gets Cold here in December.
