I live in Idaho and this was actually only an hour from my house. My wife and I took an afternoon drive to see if we could find a decent buck.Did you go with a guide service or DIY?
Ya, my wife wasn’t thrilled she sat in the truck for 3 hours while I crawled in range! HahaGreat critter. You take a drive and clobber a pronghorn within an hour of home. I took a drive with Ma yesterday about an hour from home and came home with a bag of apples. lol Nice job.
Practiced most the summer to be able to do it! It was an awesome experience. I drew a mule deer tag that I plan on hunting with my muzzleloader. I got the bug.And he did it with open sights! Congrats!
100 yards. I sighted in my gun dead on at 100 so didn’t have to hold over or anything. Wouldn’t shoot past that either. How far of a shot did you have to make?
That's sweet, 100 yards is a long poke for sure.100 yards. I sighted in my gun dead on at 100 so didn’t have to hold over or anything. Wouldn’t shoot past that either.
Ya, I wouldn’t shoot any farther and I was laying prone which gave me a very stable rest. Since I’m new at Muzzleloading, what is considered an ethical distance? That's sweet, 100 yards is a long poke for sure.
Right on bud, nice kill. Congrats. I like my Accura V2 .45 as wellView attachment 10342
First animal with a muzzleloader! Couldn’t be happier. Thanks for all the tips I received when I started shooting this year.
