first outing with my mossberg 715t

I was pretty much trying to figure out if it would like the ammo I had on hand. 50/50 type deal. I had old stock of rem bulk pack goldtips and old all lead win 330 bulk pack. both grouped well but had around 20 jams/stove pipes but out of close to 500 rounds.

next outing I have 4 different bullets from 3 different brands.
new stock of rem 325, win 333. rem thunderbolts, and federal automatch 22 bulk pack. first two are hollow points the last two are round nose. that should let me know if it is the mag or bullet type.


i don't want to break down and buy win m22 ammo, $45 per 1000 (still not bad but little pricey for 22 ammo)

Try the federal bulk 550 from Walmart. I have found it to work very well in all of my 22's. The price is good ($20) and is easy to get a hold of. It is also copper plated which I like.
