Is anyone shooting the Harvester Scorpion Gold in 260 or 300 grain?

If so how do you like them for deer or hogs under 100 yards?

Used to shoot them and never had a deer make it over 40yds and most 10. Great terminal performance for the cost.
I always used the 260 but last time I ordered he didn’t have any and I ordered the 240, they was great, too!

Harvesters bullets were made for them by Rainier. Not sure if Rainier is still around but they no longer sell to the public. Its just an average priced plated bullet. At least Harvester sells them at a fair price considering our current situation.

The plated bullet to watch for is the Speer 300gr Deep Curl and the 260gr Uni-Core

Both of these bullets have great quality plating and excellent weight retention. Plus they are very reasonably priced WHEN you can find them. They are a real pain to find in stock.

300 gr pt gold with black crush rib over 2 - 50 gr pellets has worked well for me on a couple deer.

Have used both the 300 and 260 grain with black crush rib sabot over 100 grain by volume of Blackhorn 209. Have had excellent results on deer from up close to 130 yards. Don't remember anything making it over about 50 yards.
