As stated I'm a newbie to the forum and so new I know nothing about either of these. Any help would be very appreciated. I believe these belong in this group because they have bolts and the pistol has caps?

I hope this helps and thank you. I think the pistol is a navy pistol. I'm not sure what else to take pics of that will help

A knight .50 D.I.S.C. extreme in a nice wood stock. Sweet! A Colt revolver, maybe a Navy or baby dragoon, need some better closeups but it looks like maybe a .36? And a CVA maybe a hunter bolt, if you cleanup the engraving with some steel wool it would be easier to tell what that is.

Thank you, I was told the rifles didn't belong in this group so I went to modern for help. Some get straight to the point lol

Clean them up and i mean go through every inch. Ask questions here, use the forums here for more information, get some powder, sabots, and bullets. You will never have so much fun with a new hobby .. it will lengthen your huntings seasons, increase your target shooting enjoyment, and increase your knowledge of the yester year era. Then you will be hooked for life and be going down the rabbit hole with all of us, your new friends… good luck brother…

Theres a place for every gun here, somewhere. If you guess wrong a moderator will move it, no big deal. Are you looking for value of those guns or just general info on them?
That is one of the Best questions I have been asked! I'm new at this kind of shooting and I may have paid a bit more then these are worth but not much. I'm more interested in knowledge. I'm not in the mood to get ride of them until I know what and how to use them.
In my book knowledge is king at this point!

Yeah, I have a friend that passed and his wife asked me to get rid of his stuff, so I have so much stuff and haven't moved but a truck load of stuff over. I did try to put some of the ML things on the sister site but some didn't like it so I took it down. I have everything I need now except experience.
New to this type of shooting but I'm already drooling to go out and blow up one of these (just kidding) rifles. It's hard to keep my powder dry.
Thanks for your input.

one of the best and safest things to tell a newbie in muzzle loading guns is to always use a whitness mark. Learn what it is and practice using it on every load. That way you will not blow that gun up.. good luck my friend..
I do t know what your talking about, but that is something I will look into. This is the kind of stuff I need. Thank you very much. Knowledge is King!!!
