I really enjoyed building my pistol minnie horn, that holds around 3.5 ounces, and I put a lot of time into dads horn. It's a fun hobby too. I have decided to buy me a flintlock smoothie for dog hunting as well. I just believe the "buck n ball" load will knock a running buck down easily with one shot. I'm leaning towards the Pedersoli trade gun or their brown bess.

Looks good! Making homemade stuff is part of the fun for sure.
I have made several antler powder measures, an antler handled short starter that also has a hole drilled in one end to serve as a palm saver, and a field flask made from the base of an elk shed.

I love the antler work, especially the flask and starter, way cool.
