Hornady 385 bullets

Got a chance to try these out today was able to shoot a one and a half inch group at 50 yards with The vortex Northwest ultralight Magnum, going out next week to see what they do at a hundred yards I was using triple 7 3F 90 grain

That's a decent bullet. I played with them for a while several years back after Hornady discontinued the 410 gr. Great Plains....which was an excellent conical. If you can get them to group well, they'll punch a nice hole in game.

Buffalo Bullets is making conicals again. They used to make a 385gr similar to the Great Plains. I dont know if they ever offered a 410gr flat point or not.

No Excuses are a lot less money per bullet, they can be sized perfectly to your bore, and are a WAY better bullet. Not only in accuracy, but in performance as well.

No contest, especially if you ever plan to hunt elk, or truly big game.

Bull Shop might have a 420gr also. Not all his weights are listed. Some you need to email him about. The NoExcuses ive shot were good bullets.
