How bad did it get it???

I was asking the same question last week. I called CVA and they said 100gr loose is the max. I won't even be shooting 100gr since by new Elite liked 90gr of Shockey's with 200 gr T/C SW's. Shot 1 1/4" first group at 100yds shooting off a pack.

I think you should get what you won.
I hate situations like that when you dont know what you got or where it came from.
If it didn't have the right markings on it and you dont feel good about it,dispute it and get what you want.

Bergara barrels are good barrels but look out for the breach plug CVA had something to do with that. Lee
