I have a new (to me) Disc Extreme that I converted with the Lehigh Plug with removeable ventliner. I use the ventliners from Lehigh which are "produced from a MIL-spec steel alloy and are vacuum heat treated to a proprietary multi-step process to extend life."

Curious about how long (how many shots) I can expect the ventliners to last. Shooting BH209, 100-110 grain loads most often.

Thanks,

I can not really say with BH - I do not shoot enough of it to know. I am well over 500 shots on one of the vent liners that I have but I am shooting 110-120 grains of T7...

GM54-120 might have a good idea, as he shoots real smokeless also which does wear on a vent liner...

I got between 150-200 before it opened up to .036". I did not keep good track of the exact number. I thought they would last longer so I was not worried about checking it very often. Much better than 30-40 in my smokeless MLs.
