MK-85. I bought it used several years ago. I'm guessing the MK-85 stands for 1985 design. Also guessing it could have been built up until the mid 90's.
Serial # is S 37600
Also guessing the "S" symbolizes stainless.
Any info would be great.

send an email to knight, they should be able to pinpoint it for you. mine is serial # S108xxx, and i THINK it was made around 2001-2002.

Just heard back from Knight. Here is the response.

The MK model began manufacturing in 1985. The serial number does not tell us the date it was made. I apologize that I cannot give you much more information.
