I did the stock and all of the bluing.
After market sling swivels and buttplate.
It does not like sabots, though…

Hands on shooter, yup sometimes they are vexing to work loads up for, even using sabots.

Just a thought here.

I like the idea of Traditional muzzle loaders having some personality that reflects the owners. On my traditional have a piece of leather tied around the trigger guard. Does nothing but its been there for 35 years and I like it. Like your "buttons".

I got the idea for the studs from seeing some original rifles from the mountain man era. Too, Native Americans were know to embellish their rifles with trade nails/tacks.
