I have never shot the Federal Bore Lock 270 Trophy Copper Bullet. I have seen mostly good reports about this bullet. I often wondered why they never made this bullet in 350 grain like they do their lead edition.
I often wondered how a 350 gr copper in that design would fly. I bet it would be a great elk hunting bullet for states that only allow .50 full bore conicals.

Good question. I wondered that myself. I am not a ballistics expert. I just test and shoot what others recommend. Find out what works best in my guns and go from there.

That's what I was thinking. I read where Barnes made the 290 gr TEZ because they believed a 300 gr TEZ would be too long and not do well in the standard 1:28 twist barrels.
