Im an old Neb farm boy and ive been to too many slaughter houses to count. Its one of the main reasons nearly all my packaged meat comes from my uncle. He butchers and processes all the meat for relatives.
This year i have so much wild game, i have very little need or room for any farm raised meat. Elk IMO tastes better anyway and has completely replaced my red meat intake for roughly the last month.
That's why venison is so much better for you than any store bought meat! Venison is all natural and low in fat, without any additives, like "meat glue!" I'll take a venison steak over a store bought steak any day!
