Looking to order a spare breech plug for my new mk-85. The original isn't made anymore, and I don't want to use 209 on this rifle. Was the original breech plug/nipple used for fpj?59F2E04D-79CB-4304-9A8C-71137516BEEF.jpeg

Also, does anyone know what brand the scope bases are, as I think they take a brand specific ring. Id really like to get a Williams fp-knight for this gun and take these off though. Just trying to learn more about this rifle

Looks like Talley bases and i think those only fit older Talley rings. New rings are not quite the same. Bases are fairly cheap and Talley rings are very expensive. You would be better off with another set of bases IMO if those are brand specific.

My MK 85 uses Knight FPJ with 209s or the optional Plug which uses #11 percussion caps. I have both setups but have been using the FPJ 209 setup.
