What is involved in switching out the breech plug that uses the plastic red jacket to the bare 209 version? If it is just a matter of buying one and replacing it where can you get it? Also, I read that the factory breech plug was not holding up after about 100 shots using 110 to 120 grains of BH209. If this is true what is the solution? I only shoot 80 to 85vol so maybe that would help. Any advise or info is appreciated. Thanks, Alan

Option 1
You can buy a bare primer bolt and bare primer breech plug.

Option 2
You can get adapter for bolt and bare primer breech plug

Best option 3
Bare primer adapter and my custom fit breech plug and good to go.

Best contact is [email protected]

Save yourself the grief & go with option 3

I completely agree. The Bestill option will save you tons of headaches. The plug itself is made from 17-4 SS which is better than the other option. Its the same steel Lehigh used before the Knight contract. Send that sucker straight to him.

Pay once, cry once.
