Lead shot bags for patches?

I usually start off by wrapping sandpaper around a "plumb bob" to get the smoothing started right.  Then I go to fine paper and thumb only for polishing the work smooth.  As for spit, I can't produce much due to some drugs I have to take.  But I used to shoot "spit patch" years ago.

Glad you found some pillow ticking. just out of curiosity I looked at WM a couple of days ago and there was no PT to be found. Maybe they stopped carrying it. I am glad I bought several yards last time I bought some of it.

Fabric stores carry several different weights of pillow tick as well as other cotton fabric. Pete likes the pink stuff we have heard.    :affraid:   :cheers:
