Hey big6x6......certainly every hunt is different but my shots have typically ranged from 90-150 yards. But, I'd say you could pretty much count on a sub 200 yard shot. Most of the longer shots I've taken have been my choice and I'm certain I could have approached closer if I needed to. Alot depends on the terrain though. Vanessa shot that big bull at under 100 yards and my biggest was taken at under a hundred as well.

I'm with Tom on this one. I use this combo pushed by 45 grains of 5744 in one of my savages(HB) for longer range shooting. On a CALM day i can get almost 4 1/2". But if i use a lesser charge my groups open up a bit.
