Loose action on a used Beartooth magnum

I recently found a Beartooth magnum at a pawn shop for dirt cheap. It's in rough shape but I got it cleaned up decently. When the breech is closed, there's the slightest play in the action, creating a gap a little narrower than a sheet of paper. Is there any way to fix this? I understand this is a bottom of the line gun even brand new.
