The jug of lot 35 went dry, after loading a few vials for shooting this morning. Loaded a few vials of lot 36, and left the house. Had to search for a place to shoot due to campers seemingly everywhere. Luckily was able to find a place to shoot before the wind picked up.

First was lot 35, shot from a cold fouled barrel. Three total of lot 35, then three shots of lot 36.

Bullet is Fury 50 caliber Star Tip MZ. MMP Ballistic Bridge Sub-Base was used instead of a wad. Primer is CCI standard shotgun primer.

Reason for shooting this rifle is because it is the hunting rifle, and season is coming. Serial # indicates this Dream Season was made after Smith & Wesson purchased Thompson Center. Rifle shoots good.

Lot 36 is denser than lot 35.

Does this not calculate to fewer shots from a 10 oz jug? Asking for a friend.

My original lot #29 weighed 71 grains per 100 grain volume. Lot 37 now weighs 79 grains. That calculates to 7 less (approx.) shots per 10oz jug. Advantage goes to Western Powders.

That is an 11% increase in weight by volume. That is not statistically irrelevant. Does anyone have a reason why the change? Have they just found a less expensive filler to add to the SML? And the price went up.
