Im jealous of you guys who have machining talents. But if I did I would probably be tempted to make things best left unmade. So, it all worked out good. Nice work BCS

Just curious to why you need venting? I have old Lyman mold that don’t have them and never experienced any issues.
Just something that I always do.

I have had venting problems before on some of my molds.

It also depends on if you are a drizzler or a packer. I am a packer...........not sure of the proper terms, but I like a little pressure on my fill.

Sized .5018 great fit for first hunting load.
Upped the charge to 90FF Goex.
Homemade 441 wax, grease lube.

The 80 grain load is a little slow, but groups well.
And
The lube is simple.

Retest with the 522 powder coated red.
80FF-felt-522 sized .50189
This is after cutting 1/2" + off the muzzle.
Really nice fit
Not as good as the 1-3 lubed lead, but a good hunting load.
