That guy with that cow moose had nerves of steel to stand there and do nothing. I really do not know what I would have done under those circumstances.
That second guy was darn lucky that moose kept running. Had it decided to stop and stomp the snot out of him there would have been little he could have done. I wonder how far the moose ran off before it died?
My sister used to live in Alaska up in the mountains outside of Anchorage, and they had moose all the time in their neighborhood. She told me a little neighbor girl was walking home when suddenly a moose came out and charged her. It knocked her down and did try to kick her but thankfully missed. All she got was a few bruises.
