Mt monkey .. Fury and NP

I decided to check the velocity of both the Fury 400's and the Northern Precision 400's this forenoon.

BOTH......... are right at 2,100fps. Bullet to bore, 120grs VOLUME of Lot#39 of BH209, .060" veggie wad. Range 100yds.

Wasn't really shooting for groups, just wanted the velocities of both. Round to the right was from a clean cold bore.

If a person likes HEAVY, both these bullets WORK.

When I can, I'll get to the club and test them at range.

Seems a little surprising that you’re getting 2100 fps out of 120 grV with a 400.

What are your 120 grV and a 350 gr loads going?

Its pretty good, even with a PAST recoil pad. I'm not using a brake, which would tame it WAY down.
