Anyone know if you can use the CCI 300 reenactor musket caps reliably for hunting?

AFAIK that's not a good choice. I have 400 RWS No. 1081 musket caps that I don't need (my direction changed this morning). PM me if you're interested.

NO way would i trust those Re-enactor Caps on a Hunt of mine, You want the RWS 1081 (German Caps) They are the Hottest Musket Caps available

That's what I figured, must be why they are in stock and the others are not.

NO. Reenactor caps are death on accuracy. Fine for pretend and blanks. RWS when it counts

I use Scheuetzen muzzleloader caps the go bang every time..seem to be pretty hot also.
