NEF Sidekick question

I bought a NEF Sidekick and shot it for the first time tonight. I did have an issue with the fiber optic sights. We were running late and didnt start shooting until sunset. Has anyone ever had a problem with not being able to see the front sight because the back ones were "glowing" too much?

I have great difficulty with any open sights these days, but fiber optics dern near blind me! Not so much the problem you describe, more a dancing light show for me.

I took the sights off and mounted a scope so I don't know.

NEF sights

I never had that problem but I scoped mine as well. Bushnell 3 x 9 banner. I love it with a scope!

Me too. I think it's age or old eye balls . My fibre optic sights are in my muzzle loading case where I'll be able to find them .
