My great uncle was a gun and knife collector. When he passed his sons sold most of his collection. They kept several hundred guns and miscellaneous items. One such item is this A&K cannon. Not sure of the exact date this one was manufactured but my grandma remembers them shooting it off on holidays in the early 70’s.
A few weeks back my Grandma received it from one of the sons to give to me.
For its size it’s a beast. It’s milled from a solid billet of steel. The bore measures what would be .67 caliber. One of the carriage bolts is missing a nut. Which I’ll replace. We thee than that it’s in great shape and ready to use. So next time we pull out the other cannon we’ll give this one a try.
