Hello Modern Muzzleloader! Was doing a search for.495 round balls and a thread from this site came up also. I didn’t know this forum existed. I looked around and joined. I’m a retired 63 year old hunter, shooter, reloader and fisherman. I got my first flintlock, a Kasnar, import .45 Kentucky Style rifle in 1977. I have “dropped a few rocks“ since then. I have used percussion and in-lines too. I love shooting as much as hunting of all types of firearms. However, about 15 years ago I suffered spine damage and became disabled. I have since harvested most of my deer with in-line muzzleloaders in October. PA early seasons. Our after Christmas hunt is flintlock only. What a hoot. Anyhow that’s me. I hope to learn and contribute. Peace, Pikie.
