Well, pretty much went through a lot of money to find what I should have bought from the start. 5-6 yrs ago, I had planned to have Cole build me an Omega and then he had a fire. Since then I’ve went through several smokeless builds and all not quite measuring up to what I wanted. Don’t get me wrong all was great pieces of work coming from a few different builders. Just felt like each was missing something or there was something, I didn’t like.

So, I finally decided to move back to an Omega build and contacted Jeff. 6months later, I finally received the rig, last week. Haven’t had a chance to make it to the range but I’m positive she’s a shooter. Jeff does outstanding work and this thing is a work of art.

Took it to a friend of mine and had him laser engrave Jeff’s logo and the caliber on the other side, with a couple euro whitetail racks. I think it turned out, pretty sharp.

I‘ll post some range pics in a couple weeks when I’m able to get out...

All the 2020 custom omega utilizes the new full pillar eschuseon system with grade 8 socket head bolts and barrel lugs bedded. Makes a rock solid assembly between stock and barrel assy

it definitely is! It takes a little finagling to get the action out and back in. My first muzzleloader was an Omega and it was always coming apart as soon as you loosened the bolts.
It is a fine piece of craftsmanship, down to every detail.

Thanks for the incredibly beautiful gun porn. I need a Handy Wipe or 3 now. I just got an Omega action last wk to hopefully get at least 1 built for myself. I want a half dozen of them in diff cal & twist, but I'd be grateful to just get 1 done. Have you weighed it - with/without scope?

as pictured minus the bipod, it weighs 11lb 2oz. Heavy stock option didn’t help, stock weighs 3lb 5oz. Minus scope and rings, puts it at 9lb 6oz. Also weighed action, rod and scope rail at 6lb 1oz.

I couldn't help myself from scrollin back up for anther heapin gawk at the pics. Congrats, I can't wait for the day when I can get mine built. This was a good poke in the inspiration & motivation dept I really need to Git R Done or at least a plan. Lookin forward to some LR Target porn in the near future.

Ive owed this target for awhile now. wife was in an accident back in April and it’s been a slow recovery and it’s hard for me to get away for any length of time. But anyway, here it is.
I am definitely not the best trigger puller and it’s obvious to me that this rig will outshoot, me!

Didn‘t see a need to post a 100yd target as it was a cloverleaf, as expected. The three in yellow are 1.25” @200yds, the three in red are 2.75” @300yds. I know I could do better at 300 but was fighting gusty 15mph wind From the SSE (range faces South)

(the blacked out area at the bottom was a couple shots from my 357 maximum)
