New to ML need help...

this is my first yr ML hunting and i have a CVA kodiak and am shooting 250 grn Speer gold dots with Black Mag 3 loose powder, My question is what is the best powder load for me to start out with?and when testing loads should i do it at 25,50 or 100 yrds?thanks for any help,Clint Conn

If you are using a scope i would test all loads at 100yds. I cant give you any information on the powder you chose. I would suggest 85 to 90grns of tiple se7en.
