I am a member. I enjoy the magazine. It is very good. I think it important that we stand together for our own interests. These tend to be a bit different than the black gun crowd. Plus, the lapel pin is cool. 8)

The biggest problem was for years the magazine was geared for the target shooter - you wouldn't care for the publication if you didn't take part. In recent years they have changed over to more how to and articles of interest to the whole field of muzzle-loading, not just target shooters stroking themselves. That has shown more interest today.

Some will want to say different like old KC, that's fine. I'm an NRA & NMLRA certified instructor for rifle, shotgun and handgun (have been since the 1980's).

Been a member for decades. Yes it is worth it but like anything, it is only "worth it" if you use it and that is all up to you.
