Northern Precision 270 grain pinpoint and open tip both bonded

Not focusing on a group so much just checking velocities accuracy potential is looking good,,, the bonded version of year ago performed very well in Ron's bullet test the pinpoint I remember just punched through and did not expand that's why I had asked and see if we could get that version bonded too

Hankins plug and module
Conditions,,calm 50 degrees
First group lower ,6 shots,First
shot was slow and out of group of a little next 5 were great sd would have been low if I bumped 1st shot.
1st group average 2620
Es 43
Sd16
2ng group 275 bounded basically 270 without tip. Same charge 63 gr lmr4198.
Es34,, average velocity 2649,,sd12
18 twist brux barrel same that shot 400 grain bullet in last post.

Bottom group is the pinpoint bonded 270 the group above is the open tip bonded 275 without the sharp point.

Last group today this is 67 grains of IMR 4198 average velocity is 2743 I'm sure with a little tweak, would get a lot tighter

One of the poor groups this Barrel has shot and it's still right around an inch

Its good that he could accommodate & make it bonded. Theres another extremely accurate, good hunting bullet avail now bc of it.
