Have you ever bought a VESA TV mount? They usually come with a variety of screw sizes to fit the mount holes on various televisions... and you probably only used 4 of them. Keep the rest of the screws because they can be quite useful.
For example, the shortest M6 screw will very likely work nicely as a replacement for a forearm screw on most CVA break open rifles. (but not the X models because CVA had to get fancy and pretty much dorked that up)
