Finally got a deer on the ground. Little forkie. Guessing about 1.5 year old. He came out broadside at 30-35 yards in the last 1/2 hour before sunset. Gave me a perfect head shot as he looked away a bit. Went in the ear and out the spine. Went straight down.

Barnes 250 gr. TEZ, 100 gr. BH209, but honestly, a fast moving rock would have done the job!

He's all processed and in my freezer. Can't wait to make "stuff" out of him. Jerky, roasts, burger, sausage, I do it all. With the 3 hogs I've shot this year (since Feb) and my new smoker, I'm looking forward to the next few months.
