Another hunting season is just around the corner and it got me thinking about how lucky i have been.60 years of burning black powder. 60 years ago most folks couldn't understand why a kid was using a old black powder shot gun to hunt with. bought my first black powder rifle at age 16,, It was a half stock 45 with out a makers name.Bought that rifle from Hacker Martin In Va. Mr Warner a gunsmith in Altoona carried black power and musket caps. O yes i did ok
