Boyd's Spike Camp laminated thumb hole stock will fit original Paramount with slight enlargement of barrel channel. However requires more extensive removal and shaping to achieve proper bottom metal fit. Changing stock, scope and rings resulted a 2 pound lighter rig. Lighter rig means more recoil so seriously considering installing a muzzle break. Some of added weight from brake will be offset by removing replacement 1" recoil pad and reinstalling the original 1/2" pad. Anyone have any experience and recommendations for someone to thread barrel and install brake plus an idea of price and turnaround times.
