Patched Ball chrono tests

Went plinking this weekend and decided to bring along the chronograph to what the "patched round balls" were doing:

Traditions Trapper caplock pistol, .50cal, 35grains 3F Goex = avg speed  930 FPS
     (Patch Lube = Frontier's Anti-Rust & Patch Lube)

CVA Hawken caplock  .54cal,  70grains 2F Goex                  = avg speed 1350 FPS
Cabelas Hawken flintlock  .58cal,  90grains 2F Goex            = avg speed 1250 FPS
     (Patch Lube = Buckskinner's Blend Patch Lube)

*** This was kind of fun so next time out I'm going to try a variety of loads to get some good comparisons.
