Humidity (moisture) is the enemy of anything that goes bang. If you use rice, put it in a spice sachet bag (used for cooking) and place it in all previously opened containers. Never store any gun powder where you have drastic temperature changes that can cause condensation.
 
I drop a desiccant pack right in the plastic jug of goes or trip 7 right after I open it. Bought a bag of 500 a long time ago for something so now you know I got to use em.
 
Lost a whole box of 777's due to humidity. Now I just buy a new box every year. Not worth the risk of a miss fire
 
I do. Although it’s probably overkill where I live. Low relative humidity year round means primers and powder should last virtually forever here but when I lived back East I got used to vac sealing everything I intended for long term storag... old habits and all...
