Picked up some skins!

Picked up a dozen 1 1/2oz split lambskins the other day! I will wait till they come in before deciding what to use them for. I was really wanting to make a lighter pair of pants out of them and either smoke or dye them a little darker.

Can't wait for them to arrive!

we will see! I am hoping they are thinner than my current buckskins. Looking for some light weight hiking/hunting skins.

I bought some "dark tan deer-tanned cowsides" from the same source and am very impressed with them. About 4 oz and very soft. Be good to use making a coat or shirt.
