Place to buy a Savage

I had difficulty finding a good deal on the Savage in Canada.

At first the best I could do was 579 for a synthetic stock blued barrel at SIR Mailorder.

Then someone on the list told me about Wholesale Sports and they have an outlet here in Winnipeg!

Went down over lunch. They don't have them in stock but can order, and the same gun that was 579 is only 499 there!

Good enough for me. Now I just need to wait for my P.A.L. to finish processing and that sucker is mine! Gonna get what accessories I can afford there too.

Good for you. You'll enjoy it. I'm sure it's just as cold there as it is here so you won't be able to shoot for a while but if you're like me, you want to get your hands on it. You can start shopping around for things like scope and rings. You'll need a decent scale for measureing powder. Don't know what you have so far but there's lots of help here.
