Patrick,
I am in Quincy, rather new to muzzle loading but not to deer hunting-have been an avid hunter for over 30 years-I have killed deer with shotgun, compound bows and now after a stroke this year I have shot 2 with my new crossbow that I hunt with now,but now I am excited to try the Savage smokeless-so get ready for a lot of stupid questions, any help appreciated.

I have bought one @ $200.00, one @ $250.00 and one @ $300.00, and one that had some work done to it for $500.00. I was told that the extra plastic with that one was free! :D

Where did I get the cheap ones? Two came from gun shows, and one came from an auction. The 2 cheapest ones were NIB.

What you pay all depends on how fast you want to get one 8)

I'm always looking for one when I go to the gun shows or an auction.

In the Natchez listing I believe the $399 rifle was the only one which did NOT mention the accu-trigger.
