I'm thinking of having a really bad encore 209x50 rebored to a 54 cal. My question is will the same breach plug still work?

My Encore breech plug is 11/16” diameter (0.6875”) with a minor of (0.625”).
You can measure the face diameter of your existing plug to confirm.

Bear with me I'm not up on this, but are you saying the same breech plug that fits my 50 cal encore would also fit after reboring to 54 cal.?
