I'm wanting a Redfield Peep Sight on my Strike. Because of the design it looks like I will have to use a peep mounted on the rear stock like sorta that on a Savage 99. Any suggestions?

Why do you want to switch from a scope to a peep sight?

I want both. I am already have problems with the scope mount that will fail when I need it most...In front of a deer.

Mine is failing. It is not a TC Strike mount. I didn't mention it is a Weaver 1" Pivot Mount Scope Rings Satin Finish #49220 with a Weaver 336 Pivot Mount Base (#163) that is failing.
