Here is a great new product for any treestand hunter. It's called the Resin TrueQuiet Treestand. I got one for christmas, although i only hunted from it a couple of days. I did about everything I could to make it squeek, crack, pop and whatnot. It was about 20 degrees on a couple days. Although i can't give it a full report, it looks to be a big hit. The height of the seat is adjustable which is awesome. ALL AMERICAN MADE! Here is a link for anybody interested:

Looks GOOD!

Does it bend or flex? Is it really STRONG enough?

Looks like a really great idea!

I am 6'2... about 180. I didn't notice much flex at all. They have two ratchet straps, one high and one low to secure the stand to a tree. IMO all stands should use two. All the stand that I have I always add an extra stap or two. Much safer, and much less apt to make noise. Amazing what things can be made from these days. I still have it out in the woods, but this weekend I am going out for a stroll, I'll give it another test before I take it down.
