I was at the range talking to people which I shouldn't have done....I double balled I feel dumb at least I caught it and didn't shoot it thank god for break action I can't imagine trying to get balls out of a flint lock....pay attention to your witness marks people

My brother did the exact same thing right before muzzleloader season! The witness mark told him what he had done! It was also a break action and was fairly easy to unload!

I did the exact same thing at the range. I had loaded and a guy came in. We talked for a while. Then I shoved another sabot down into the barrel. Crap.
It happens. This is why those marks on the rod are so important. I paint them on with red touch up paint.
