Does anyone know a way to purchase a Model 1 reciever without the whole gun? I just need a reciever for a custom build.
Thanks

I know a fellow that owns a .233 Ruger#1 that would sell but don't know what he would have to have. You would probably pay as much for a bare action.

You might email him [email protected]

I've never built a custom gun, so I don't have any real knowledge about it, but I always figured that you could just buy an action from the manufacturer, whether it be Remington, Winchester, Ruger, Browning, etc. Can you not buy one directly from the manufacturer? Not to say that it wouldn't cost as much as just buying a used rifle.

The only place I know that sells commercial actions is Brownells. They require an FFL to purchase.

Underclocked

Don't let anybody that is into politics know that you think that.
I have been flamed on a few boards for posting almost the exact thing
